CAL: Cross Country - Borak begins her first season on the cross country team after enrolling at Cal for the 2003 spring semester...tabbed to be among the team's top five runners.
Track - Qualified for the 2003 Pac-10 Championships in the 5000m, recording a PR of 17:16.97 at the Mt. SAC Relays...led the Bears in the 3000m (9:57.50) and 5000m in 2003.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2002 graduate of Menlo-Atherton High School...2002 Peninsula Athletic League champion in the 800m, 1600m, 3200m and was a 4x400 relay team member...also was a league champion in cross country in 2001...set her high school's record in the mile (5:02) and 5000m (17:50)...named Best Varsity Athlete in both 2001 and 2002 and earned Best Varsity Runner honors in cross country and track from 1998 through 2002.
