AS A JUNIOR (2004): Led the Bears in scoring with 45 goals, including 10 goals in the four MPSF Tournament matches...was Cal's high scorer in 14 of 29 matches, including a three-goal performance in the Bears' victory over San Diego State in the MPSF Tournament's fifth-place match...also scored three goals apiece against Arizona State and Hawaii in the MPSF Tournament...
AS A SOPHOMORE (2003): Was Cal's scoring leader with 34 goals...was the Bears' top scorer in 14 of the team's 23 matches...had a season-high four goals Mar. 2 versus UC Irvine and scored a team-high three goals in a victory over San Diego State at the UC Santa Barbara Tournament...scored two goals apiece against Long Beach State and UC Santa Barbara at the MPSF Tournament...was a second team All-American and second team All-MPSF...
AS A FRESHMAN (2002): Was fourth on the team in scoring with 27 goals, the fifth-most goals scored by a freshman in Cal history...scored three goals during the MPSF Tournament, including a team-high two goals versus Long Beach State...scored a team-high three goals versus UC Irvine and a team-high four goals versus Long Beach State...
HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL: At Valhalla High School was a four-time league MVP, first team All-CIF Division I in 1998 and 2000, and CIF Division I MVP in 1999 and 2001 in water polo...helped her team to four straight league championship and second place CIF Division I finishes in 1998 and 1999...was a member the National Youth Team in 1998 and 1999 and was a member of the Junior National Team that placed first at the Pan Am Games in Venezuela...majoring in sociology...parents are Ivan and Linda Needles...born September 29, 1983 in Newport, RI.
