CALIFORNIA - Mack enters his senior season at Cal as one of the team's best long and triple jumpers when healthy...Pac-10 qualifier...as a JUNIOR in 2001 in both the triple jump and long jump but was unable to compete due to an injury...finished second at the Cal Quadrangular in the triple jump with a season-best mark of 49-10...also placed third in the long jump at that meet with a mark of 24.0.25...as a SOPHOMORE in 2000, took fifth in the triple jump at the Pac-10 meet with a mark of 50-9 and ninth in the long jump (23-5.5)...recorded a PR in the triple jump of 51-5.5 at the UCLA Triangular...in the Big Meet, recorded a critical eight points for the Bears with a first-place finish in the triple jump (51-4.5) and a second-place finish in the long jump (23-7.5) after having his appendix removed three weeks earlier...earned Pac-10 Men's Field Athlete of the Week and appeared in Sports Illustrated's Faces in the Crowd following his extraordinary efforts at the Big Meet...placed sixth in the triple jump at the 1999 Pac-10 Championships...as a FRESHMAN with a then-Cal PR of 50-0.5...his season-best mark in the long jump of 23-4.5 came at the UC Davis Invite.
