California: Earned first team Pac-10 All-Academic team honors in 2003...recipient of the National Merit Scholarship...rowed three in the Pac-10 silver-medal and IRA bronze-medal winning 2001 Cal freshman eight.
Personal: European history major...participated in four years of volleyball (team captain), two years of basketball (team captain) and two years of cross country while in high school...hobbies include playing guitar, cooking and changing majors...after graduation he plans to either join the army for a few years, or keep rowing until the olympics...parents are Ann Marie and Alexander Frasca...has a sister, Alexandra, who attends UCLA, and a brother Adrian.
