CALIFORNIA: The senior freestyler competed at the U.S. Olympic Trials, finishing 16th in the semi-finals of the 200-meter freestyle (2:04.50)...she entered the semi-finals seeded seventh with a 2:01.83 time in the prior round...won U.S. Summer National title in 200-meter freestyle (2:01.89)
JUNIOR IN 2003-04: Helped set NCAA record in 800-meter freestyle relay (1:58.55 split) at NCAA Championships...also on third-place 400 free relay team and an Honorable Mention All-American with an 11th place finish in the 200-meter freestyle...helped set a school record in the 800-yard freestyle relay at Pac-10 Championships (1:46.02 split)...individually scored points for the Bears at Pac-10 Championships in the 100-yard free (6th), 200-yard free (7th), and 500 yard free (13th)
SOPHOMORE IN 2002-03: Qualified for the NCAA Championships in the 200 free and as a member of the 800 free relay...scored points for the Bears at the Pac-10 Championships with a seventh-place finish in the 200 free (1:50.94)...also a member of Cal's 800 free relay that placed seventh at the conference meet...held Cal's second-fastest time of the season in the 200 free (1:49.15)
FRESHMAN IN 2001-02: Earned honorable mention All-America honors, helping Cal's 800 free relay team to a ninth-place finish at the NCAA Championships...scored points for the Bears in the freestyle events at the Pac-10 Championships
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2001 graduate of St. Lucy's Priory...was a three-time Sierra League team MVP in swimming...in 1999 and 2000, placed second in the 100 and 200 free, and in 2001 was the CIF Division II champ in the 200 IM...helped lead her team to two league titles and holds school records in the 50, 100, 200 and 500 free, the 100 fly and the 100 breast...is a member of school record setting 200 free, 200 medley and 400 free relays as well
