Cal-Oregon State Postgame Notes

Cal's 73-56 win over Oregon State on Sunday extended the Bears' winning streak against the Beavers to five games. The Golden Bears lead the all-time series, 82-60. Today's win also extended Cal's winning streak against Oregon State in games played at Haas Pavilion to five.

Cal enjoyed a 24-2 run halfway through the second half to take control of the game after Oregon State had previously held an eight-point lead. 

Sophomore guard Jordan Mathews made three 3-pointers and has scored at least one 3-pointer in 17 of his past 18 games and multiple 3-pointers in 14 of his previous 18 contests. Mathews paced the Cal offense with 17 points.

Four Bears reached double figures in scoring – Mathews 17, Jabari Bird 14, David Kravish 13 and Tyrone Wallace 12.

Sunday marked the 131th game in the career of senior David Kravish, which is fourth on Cal's all-time list.

With three blocks, Kravish increased his school-record total to 220.

Today's game marked the final regular-season appearance at Haas Pavilion for Cal's three seniors – Christian Behrens, Kravish and Dwight Tarwater
