Action began Friday with the 3-meter, and Cyr got the weekend started by posting a score of 586.40 that placed him well inside the top half of the 15-diver field. Utah's Josiah Purse won the event with a score of 768.35.

Saturday saw divers shift  to the plaftorm and Cyr ranked fifth after the preliminary round. The Cal senior finished with a total score of 543.45, placing sixth in the 11-diver group. Cal teammate Finn Scribbick also competed in the platform, but only recorded dives in the preliminary round.
