BERKELEY --- California Women's Golf and head coach Nancy McDaniel has announced the signing of Sweden native Sofia Lundell to a National Letter of Intent to join the Golden Bears for the 2017-18 season.

Lundell, who attends Sundsgymnasiet in Vellinge, Sweden, projects to help the Bears immediately thanks to her quality experience. Over the past two years (2015-16), Lundell has produced 20 total finishes in the top-20, including 11 in the top-10, eight in the top-5 and wins in the PGA Junior Open by Titleist and a Skadia National Tour match play tournament in 2015. Lundell has also spent time over the last two years as a member of the Swedish U18 National Team.
