  • Kingsley Okoroh tied the Cal record with 7 blocks against UC Riverside. Michael Stewart also reached 7 three times during his career – vs. Stanford on Jan. 18, 1995; vs. Stanford on Feb. 17, 1994; and vs. Cal State Northridge on Feb. 7, 1994.
  • Okoroh also set his career high with 18 rebounds. He had a previous high of 13 boards at UCLA on Jan. 5, 2017.
  • Don Coleman set a career high with 32 points, his second straight game with at least 20. Coleman totaled a then-career-best 26 points in Cal's NIT game vs. Cal State Bakersfield to conclude last season. The last Cal player to score at least 30 points was Charlie Moore, who had 38 vs. UC Irvine on Nov. 16, 2016.
  • Okoroh set the Cal season record with 74 blocks last season and his 142 career blocks – including tonight – are third most in school history.
  • Cal's starters were sophomore G Don Coleman, senior G Nick Hamilton, freshman G Deschon Winston, senior C Kingsley Okoroh and senior F Marcus Lee. It marked the first career starts for Hamilton and Winston, the first in a Cal uniform for Marcus Lee (transfer from Kentucky) and the second career start for Coleman.
  • In addition to Winston, other freshmen to make their debuts for the Bears were Darius McNeill, Justin Sueing, Austin McCullough and Grant Anticevich.
