California looks to lock up seventh place at the Maui Jim Maui Invitational when the Golden Bears face the Chaminade Silverswords Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. HT/11:30 a.m. PT. The action tips off from the Lahaina Civic Center, live on ESPNU and on the California Golden Bears Sports Network on KGO 810 AM.

Cal moved into the consolation bracket after dropping games to sixth-ranked Wichita State, 92-82, and to VCU, 83-69. In their most recent outing against the Rams, four of Cal's five starters scored in double figures, led by Don Coleman. The junior from Augusta, Ga. is averaging 28.0 points in Maui and is one of three Bears in double-figure scoring at the tournament. Justice Sueing, who logged a career-best 20 points in the Wichita State game, is averaging 15.5 point and Darius Mcneill is averaging 13.0 points. Marcus Lee, who fouled out in Monday's game, got back into the action Tuesday with his third double-double outing in five games. Lee recorded 11 points and 12 rebounds, bring his season average to 11.8 points and 9.8 rebounds per game.

The Bears have faced the Silverswords just once before, taking a 91-67 victory over Chaminade on Dec. 27, 1980. Chaminade is competing for seventh place after losses to Notre Dame and Michigan.

• The Bears are now 4-5 in the Maui Jim Maui Invitational.
• Three players are averaging double-figure scoring at the Maui Jim Maui Invitational, led by Don Coleman's 28.0 points. Justice Sueing has 15.5 points per game, and Darius Mcneill has 13.0.
• The Golden Bears are shooting 41.2 percent (14-34) from beyond the arc in Maui.
• Against VCU, the Bears recorded 12 steals -- the first time they've swiped the ball more than 10 times since a Feb. 23, 2014 game against USC.
• Four of Cal's five starters scored in double figures against VCU – Don Coleman (21), Marcus Lee (11), Justice Sueing (11) and Darius McNeill (10).
• McNeill has reached double figures in three consecutive games, starting with when he logged  his career-high 17 vs Wofford.

• Cal made 10 three-pointers against Wichita State for the first time since a Feb. 17, 2017 game against Stanford where the Bears recorded 11 treys. Prior to Monday's game, Cal's season-high for triples was only 5.
• With 35 points against the Shockers, Don Coleman set a new career-high total and scored 30+ points for the third time this season. He's logged 30+ three times in the last five games.
