After a scorching win over Arizona State, California men's basketball brings its ignited offense and a five-game winning streak to Tucson looking to keep things rolling at ninth-ranked Arizona. The Golden Bears wil go for the Grand Canyon State sweep against the Wildcats on Saturday at 7 p.m. PT live on ESPN2 and on KGO Radio.

Cal extended its winning streak to five consecutive games in a dominating 68-43 performance over Arizona State Wednesday night, holding the Sun Devils to season-low totals in numerous categories including total points, field goal percentage and three-pointers. Cal's offense was led by an 18-point effort from Grant Mullins, who had six three-pointers, and another double-double (14 points, 11 rebounds) from Karl Malone Power Forward of the Year finalist Ivan Rabb. The standout sophomore now has 13 double-doubles on the season, including nine in Pac-12 play.

The Bears gave up a 13-point lead in their last meeting with the Wildcats in Berkeley on Dec. 30, falling to then-No. 18 Arizona 67-62 in the conference opener. Rabb and Jabari Bird each had 16 points, and Charlie Moore chipped in 12 points. Heading into the contest,  Cal's high-powered offensive trio of Moore, Rabb and Bird had only stepped onto the court for three games together. This time, the trio has shared 15 starts together and are all averaging at least 14.0 points per game, led by Rabb (15.2 ppg, 10.9 rpg), Bird (14.2 ppg) and then Moore (14.0 ppg).

HALLMARK SUCCESS IN FEBRUARY

Cuonzo Martin's squads have historically had strong success in the month before the madness begins, with Martin-coached teams going 37-12 in February over the past seven seasons. That includes stops at three different schools -- Cal, Tennessee and Missouri State. At Cal, the Bears are now 14-3 in February under Martin, including a 7-0 stretch last season.

During the February 2016 run, Cal posted several impressive numbers - 80.3 ppg, a +10.6 rebounding margin and a +14.6 scoring margin. Only one of Cal's Feb. 2016 wins was by less than 12 points, and the Bears hit the 80-point barrier four times. This year, Cal is averaging 74.0 points, a +7.0 rebounding margin and has two 75+ point games through three contests.

MULLINS IT OVER

Graduate transfer Grant Mullins has connected on at least two 3-pointers in each of his last eight games and is shooting 42.5 percent from downtown this season, a mark that ranks among the Pac-12's leaders. Mullins is sixth for three-point field goal percentage and 10th for three-point field goals made (48) through all games. He ranks third in three-pointers made in Pac-12 games with 32.

DOUBLE-DOUBLE STANDARDS

With nine double-doubles in 12 games of Pac-12 play, double-double point and rebound totals are making frequent appearances in Ivan Rabb's statline. Among active Pac-12 players, Rabb is now second in the conference in career double-doubles with 25, behind Washington State senior Josh Hawkinson. With his 25 double-doubles, Rabb has eclipsed Ryan Anderson (24) for career double-doubles among all Golden Bears in the last 20 seasons. He trails Sean Lampley (1st, 30) and Leon Powe (2nd, 29).

CREATING MOORE OFFENSE

Charlie Moore is averaging 6.5 assists in his last four outings, including two career-best eight-assist games. He has 26 assists and 12 turnovers in that span for a 1:2.17 assist-turnover ratio. In his first 20 games, Moore had 65 assists and 64 turnovers, a ratio of 1:1.02 and an average of 3.3 assists per game. Cal is 13-1 when posting more assists than its opponent, and has tallied more assists than its opponent in each of the last three games for a 60-40 edge.

LONG RANGER

Jabari Bird's perimeter shooting is among the best in program history. With five three-pointers at No. 11 Oregon, the senior moved into the top 10 in program history for three-point field goals made, and already ranks top 10 in three-pointer attempts. Bird has currently hit at least one three-pointer in a career-long 14 consecutive games and is 37-101 (36.6 percent) from beyond the arc in that span. In the record books, he checks in at:

• 10th for field goal percentage defense (38.8 percent)
• 12th for scoring defense (62.3 ppg)
• 13th for rebound margin (7.8)
• 14th for total rebounds per game (40.33)
• 16th in defensive rebounds per game (28.46)

RABBID PLAY

AP Preseason All-American Ivan Rabb is living up to his billing this season, averaging 15.2 points and 10.9 rebounds with 13 double-doubles this season, including nine in Pac-12 play. He ranks in the top 30 in the country in rebounds per game (7th, 10.9), defensive rebounds per game (12th, 7.77), double-doubles (17th, 13) and total rebounds (23rd, 240).

Rabb started Pac-12 play with a string of three double-doubles -- all three coming with 15 or more rebounds -- including a career-best 20 boards at No. 4 UCLA. He became the first Golden Bear with 20+ boards since Leon Powe in March 2006. He has now recorded nine double-doubles in 12 Pac-12 contests.

In back-to-back games, Rabb scored a then-career-best 25 points in Cal's OT win over Louisiana Tech, then followed it up with a 26-point game against Alcorn State. He scored the 26 points on a 10-12 outing from the floor and 6-7 clip at the charity stripe in just 29 minutes. Rabb upped his career-high rebound total to 16 against 18th-ranked Arizona, and owns a team-best five double-doubles this season.

Rabb made his return to the Cal lineup for the first time this season against San Diego State, where he came off the bench and logged a team-high 30 minutes of action. Though Rabb had just three points in the first half on a 3-5 performance at the charity stripe, he finished the game only two points shy of his career-high total with 19 points. After returning from injury, Rabb posted a career-long four-game double-double streak.

THE KING'S COURT

Okoroh's paint presence ranks among the best in the country, where he is top 20 in two categories. Okoroh is averaging 2.50 blocked shots per game, a total that ranks 18th the nation and 2nd in the Pac-12, and his 60 total blocks this season are 16th in NCAA action.

In a four-game stretch from Nov. 21 to Nov. 30, the Derby, England native set career-highs in each game. He started the string off by setting a personal-best rebound total of 9 against San Diego State, and followed the performance with a career-high 5 blocks against Wyoming. He capped off the week by matching both his career-best point (10) and rebound (9) totals and setting a new personal-best mark for assists with 3 against Southeastern Louisiana. Against Louisiana Tech, Okoroh set new career-high boards (12) and assist (4) totals on top of matching his career-high blocks (5).

Rabb is averaging 10.9 rebounds per game and has been on a hot streak as of late with a 12.3 rebounding average in Pac-12 play. Rabb leads the conference in rebounds per game and and ranks second in both defensive rebounds per game (7.77) and offensive rebounds per game (3.14).
