Kuc Tallies Personal Best at European Championships
Incoming women's gymnastics freshman Alma Kuc continues to bolster her international resume with a strong finish at the European Championships last week.
Kuc, who represented Poland on the uneven bars at the 2017 European Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Romania, tallied a 13.3 on the event – a personal best under the new code of points. She finished 18th.
"We are so proud of Alma," said associate head coach Liz Crandall-Howell. "Alma has some very unique skills on bars that are rarely performed at the NCAA level. We are extremely excited to add her gorgeous lines and artistry to our team."
Kuc will be a freshman at Cal this fall following her graduation from Laurel Springs High School in southern California. She was the 2016 Polish uneven bars champion and competed with the Polish National Team at the 2015 World Gymnastics Championships.
