California returns to action Saturday seeking to snap a five-game losing streak in a battle with Arizona State. The Golden Bears host the Sun Devils at 7:30 p.m. from Pete Newell Court in Haas Pavilion, with the action airing live on Pac-12 Network.

The first 5,000 fans in attendance will receive a free Jason Kidd bobblehead, modeled after a shot from Kidd's iconic game against Duke in the 1993 NCAA Tournament, in which the Kidd-led Bears topped the Bobby Hurley-led Blue Devils.

Arizona State turned in a perfect non-conference season before skidding in Pac-12 play with a 2-4 record thus far with losses to Arizona, Colorado, Oregon and, most recently, Stanford. The Sun Devils are just one game ahead of the Bears in the Pac-12 standings after a five-game losing streak by the Bears, including Cal's most recent loss to Arizona on Thursday evening. The Bears look to avoid their first weekend home sweep by the Arizona schools since 2014-15.

Cal's freshman contingent continues to power the Bears forward, led by Justice Sueing's 19.2 points in Pac-12 play. His scoring average is second among all freshmen, and third overall. Sueing is providing help for the Bears on both ends of the court, ranking second on the squad in steals (11) and third in blocks (4) in league action. Rookie teammate Juhwan Harris-Dyson leads all Pac-12 freshmen in steals (12) and is averaging 6.8 points in his four conference starts. Against the Wildcats, Kingsley Okoroh emerged with a balanced 10 points, three rebounds, two blocks, two assists and a steal in 28 minutes of action. He was one of three in double figures for the Bears, alongside Sueing's team-high 19 and Don Coleman's 11.
