Cal vs. Cal Poly
After a week-long break for final exams, the Golden Bears return to action looking to start their first win streak of the season when men's basketball hosts Cal Poly on Saturday at 7 p.m. in Haas Pavilion. The game airs live on the Pac-12 Network.
The Bears are coming off their best total-team effort of the season after edging San Diego State, 89-83, last Saturday. The game saw five Bears score in double figures, with Cal's bench contributing 33 points, including a career-high 13 points from
Grant Anticevich and 11 from
Matt Bradley.
Justice Sueing added a season-high 23 points while
Paris Austin matched his career-best 9-assist total without a single turnover in 37 minutes of play.
Austin (13.9 points per game) and Sueing (12.9 ppg) are among five members of the Cal lineup contributing double-figure scoring totals.
Darius McNeill, who has tallied three or more 3-pointers in five of this season's eight contests, is averaging 11.4 points, while rookies Bradley (10.6) and
Andre Kelly (10.0) are also in the mix.
