Cal (8-20, 2-13 Pac-12) vs. Washington (18-10, 8-7 Pac-12)
California men's basketball returns to Pete Newell Court for the final time this season, hosting the Washington Huskies in their regular-season home finale Saturday afternoon. The actions tips off at 1:30 p.m. from Haas Pavilion and airs live on Pac-12 Networks and KGO 810 AM.
California will honor its five seniors --
Nick Hamilton,
Derek King,
Marcus Lee,
Kingsley Okoroh and
Cole Welle -- as part of the team's annual Senior Day ceremony. The quintet has a combined 231 appearances for the Bears and boasts honors such as NABC Honors Court laurels and a 3.85 cumulative GPA (Hamilton), the program's single-season blocked shots leader (Okoroh) and Senior CLASS Award and Pac-12 SAAC representative (Lee). Additionally, two members of this year's class -- Hamilton and Welle -- earned scholarships this season after walking on to join the Bears at the start of their careers.
As the Bears prepare to send their seniors off in style, Cal's rookies are help leading a resurgence that has seen four of the team's last five games decided by four or less points. In that span, Cal's rookie starters are averaging 9.5 points or better, led by 13.0 points from
Justice Sueing, including a 25-point performance recently against Washington State.
Darius McNeill is averaging 10.4 points and
Juhwan Harris-Dyson ins averaging 9.6 in the span, while McNeill is also six three-pointers away from setting the Cal freshman record to surpass Allen Crabbe's 2011 record of 62.

ROOKIE REVIVAL
Though each of Cal's three freshman starters has struggled in conference play, the Bears are seeing a resurgence from their rookies as of late.
Justice Sueing, who was limited under double figures in two consecutive games at Colorado and Utah, has since re-emerged to average 20.0 points in the last two games, including 25 points against Washington State. Sueing matched a career-high four three-pointers, bringing his season total to 40, only five three-pointers shy of top six among Cal's freshman record holders. Sueing is currently ranked ninth in the Cal freshman records with 392 points, surpassing both Jason Kidd (378) and Lamond Murray (387) with his production against the Cougs. The rookie from Honolulu, Hawai'i is also making his way up the freshman record ranks at 10th with 136 field goals made and fourth with 43 steals.
Juhwan Harris Dyson is averaging 11.5 points in his last two appearances, reaching double figures six times in Pac-12 play, including a career-high 13 points against Stanford. He is the lone Golden Bear frosh with a double-double this season, recording 10 points and 11 rebounds at Washington State. Harris-Dyson nearly became the first player to notch a triple-double in more than 30 seasons with a 10-point, 9-rebound and 7-assist performance at home against Washington State.
Darius McNeill has 57 three-pointers, just six shy of setting a new Cal freshman record to surpass Allen Crabbe's 62 three-point makes as a freshman in 2011. After going 0-8 from three-point range against Oregon on Feb. 1, McNeill has made multiple threes in four of the last five games and is shooting 30.5 percent (11-36) from three in that span.
