BERKELEY – Cal beach volleyball pair Grace Campbell and Maddie Micheletti were named Volleymob Second Team All-Americans on Monday.

Volleymob awarded All-American on all five courts, and Campbell and Micheletti were determined to be the second-best No. 5 pair in the country. The duo was also ranked as the second-ranked No. 5 pair in the nation by collegebeachvb.com with a 27-3 record.

Campbell, a junior, and Micheletti, a freshman, faced pairs from 14 ranked opponents this season and went 11-3, with all three losses coming to top-5 teams. The duo dropped just nine sets all season and earned the program's first-ever Pac-12 Pair of the Week award in April.

Campbell and Micheletti helped the Bears record the best season in the program's five-year history, going 24-8 and finishing the year ranked No. 12 in the AVCA national poll. Cal also placed third at the year-ending Pac-12 Championship.
