For the first time in more than two decades, California men's basketball travels across the Bay Bridge to face the University of San Francisco at the Hilltop in the Golden Bears' first true road contest of the season. The Bears tip off against the Dons at 8 p.m. Wednesday, airing live on CBS Sports Network.

Cal tips off at War Memorial Gymnasium at the Sobrato Center for the first time since Dec. 2, 1997. Since that meeting, the Bears have faced the Dons three times -- all in Berkeley.

Wednesday's action marks the first true road game of the season for Cal after the Bears went 0-2 in the neutral-site 2K Empire Classic benefitting Wounded Warrior Project in New York City. The game also continues a 10-game stretch where the Bears do not leave the Bay Area. The Bears are averaging only 48.5 points in games away from Haas Pavilion, but are averaging 67.3 points overall this season.

Meanwhile, USF returns to action with its second game in less than 24 after falling to fellow Pac-12 team Arizona State, 71-67, Tuesday night in San Francisco.
