California men's basketball's two-game road swing, which is part of a 10-game Bay Area stretch, continues this weekend in the South Bay, where the Golden Bears face off against the Santa Clara Broncos. The Bears and Broncos tip off at 2 p.m. Saturday from the Leavey Center, with the game showing on the WCC Network.

The Bears look to take their first nonconference road win since 2017 while still aiming to establish their offensive identity and defensive presence away from Haas Pavilion. Cal is averaging 53.7 points in games away from Berkeley, compared to 74.8 points at home, and allowing an average of 9.3 3-pointers per game. In the three games away from Haas, Matt Bradley and Kareem South pace the Bears in double figures, averaging 13.3 points and 10.0 points, respectively.

Santa Clara returns to action following a 98-67 loss at Nevada on Wednesday. Prior to the loss, the Broncos owned a five-game win streak from Nov. 19 to Nov. 30. In Cal's last meeting with Santa Clara on Nov. 26, 2018, five Golden Bears scored in double figures, led by Juhwan Harris-Dyson and Matt Bradley's 15 points apiece.
