Bears Look To Continue Successful Stretch Against Beavs After Winning 9 Of Last 10 Meetings

After a recent string of success against Oregon State, California men's basketball looks to replicate its winning ways when the Golden Bears face off against the Beavers Saturday afternoon at Gill Coliseum. Tipoff is underway at 2:30 p.m. on the Pac-12 Networks.

The Bears are 9-1 in their last 10 meetings with the Beavers, and own a six-game winning streak after defeating the Beavers 74-70 in Haas Pavilion on Feb. 3 last year. It marked Cal's last Pac-12 win to date.

Justice Sueing continues to provide consistency for the Bears, scoring in double figures in four consecutive outings and eight times in Pac-12 play. Paris Austin has aslo added double-digit scoring totals four times in the last five games, while Connor Vanover is coming off back-to-back double-figure appearances. Vanover added a career-best 5 rebounds in Cal's loss at Oregon.

Oregon State enters the matchup after falling to Stanford Thursday night, 83-60, despite double-figure efforts from three players. Cal's last conference road win was against the Cardinal on Dec. 30, 2017 (77-74).

13.5 -- Connor Vanover is averaging 13.5 points in his last two appearances. He set a new career-high total of 15 points against Stanford, and added 12 points at Oregon. The big man's 5 rebounds at Oregon also marked a new career-high.
