Milan Clausi Finishes Standout Rookie Season As Championship-Caliber Vault Specialist

FORT WORTH, Texas – A stellar debut season for the Pac-12 Freshman of the Year Milan Clausi came to a close at Friday's NCAA Women's Gymnastics Championships at the Fort Worth Convention Center.
 
Clausi, who qualified to the championship event as a vault specialist, performed a 9.825 Yurchenko 1.5. She finishes the season with a perfect 15-for-15 record on vault.
 
With her final vault of 2019, the Cal newcomer wrapped up a strong first season with the Golden Bears. She collected Pac-12 Freshman of the Year and Second Team All-Pac-12 Vault honors, plus a league-best four Freshman of the Week laurels. Clausi logged 11 scores of 9.90 or higher, including career-highs of 9.95 on vault, 9.90 on bars and 9.925 on floor. She also won a team-best 10 event titles.
