California men's basketball looks to protect home court this week against the Oregon schools, starting when the No. 11 Ducks come to town for a Thursday tilt with the Golden Bears. The action tips off at 6 p.m. from Haas Pavilion and live on the Pac-12 Networks.
The Bears are undefeated on Pete Newell Court in 2020, with three consecutive wins including a home sweep of the Washington programs and last Sunday's two-point victory over rival Stanford. Cal has held two of its three league home opponents to under 60 points.
Cal is seeking its first win over a ranked opponent since Feb. 28, 2019, when the Bears topped then-No. 25 Washington, 76-73. It was also Cal's last Top 25 win on home court. A Thursday win over the Ducks would also be Cal's first win over a Top 15 opponent -- since Feb. 11, 2016, when the Bears topped a then-No. 11 Duck team, 83-63.
