Cal Set To Face Utes In Salt Lake City
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – California will look to get back in the win column when it clashes with Utah at the Jon M. Huntsman Center on Saturday night. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m. PST and the game will be televised on ESPNU with Dave Pasch and Bill Walton on the call.

After picking up their first conference victory of the season last Saturday against Washington, the Golden Bears (6-8, 1-6 Pac-12) stumbled against Colorado on Thursday in the first leg of their trip to the Pac-12 mountain schools. Utah (5-5, 2-4 Pac-12) snapped a four-game losing streak Thursday with a home win over Stanford.

- Cal's leading scorer Matt Bradley (17.8 PPG) has missed five of the last seven games, including three in a row, due to injury (ankle). He has not played since Jan. 2 at Oregon State.
- A win on Saturday would be Cal's first in Salt Lake City since Jan. 24, 2013. The Bears have lost five straight road contests at Utah.
- In Cal's past two games, Andre Kelly has made 17 of his 20 attempts from the field and totaled 38 points. His career-high 11 baskets paced the Bears to their first Pac-12 win of the season vs. Washington on Jan. 9. He followed it up with a 6-of-7 effort Thursday at Colorado.

- Three of Cal's last eight games against Utah have gone to overtime, including their most recent meeting on Feb. 29, 2020 in Berkeley. Cal defeated the Utes, 86-79, in the Bears' home finale behind a combined 53 points from Bradley, Anticevich and Kelly.
- The Bears are 5-0 this season when scoring 70 or more points, most recently including the 84-78 win over Washington on Jan. 9.
- Makale Foreman (33) and Ryan Betley (32) are ranked 1-2 among Pac-12 players in 3-pointers made this season.
- Cal has posted two of its three lowest turnover totals in two of the last three games (7 vs. Washington State, 9 vs. Washington).
- Joel Brown ranks among Pac-12 leaders in total steals (second, 24), total assists (fourth, 52), steals per game (fourth, 1.71) and total minutes played (eighth, 381:39).
