BERKELEY – California track & field announced the indoor competition portion of its 2021 schedule on Tuesday, beginning with a trip to the Air Force Invitational in Colorado Springs, Colo. this weekend.

The Bears will compete Friday, Jan. 22-Saturday, Jan. 23 at the Cadet Field House at the U.S. Air Force Academy. It will be the first action on the track in 10 months after the 2020 outdoor season was canceled after one meet due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Cal travels to Colorado Springs, Colo. again for the second meet of the indoor season on Friday, Feb. 19 for the second Air Force Invitational.

The regular season wraps up with a possible third competition the weekend of Feb. 26-27 that is to be determined at a later date.

The NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships will be held March, 12-13, in Fayetteville, Ark. on the campus of the University of Arkansas.

Dates and locations for the outdoor portion of California's track & field schedule will be announced at a later date when details are finalized.
