SACRAMENTO – Cal sophomore Mika Jin polished off the best tournament of her collegiate career on Tuesday, finishing in a tie for seventh place at 5-under par at the Gunrock Invitational at Del Paso Country Club.

Jin, whose 5-under 67 during Monday's second round was the Bears' best individual round in three seasons, registered the second top-10 finish of her career.

Cal finished in eighth place as a team at 5-over par.

Senior Katherine Zhu and sophomore Cristina Ochoa each finished at 3-over par to tie for 31^st individually. Zhu won the Gunrock Invitational as a sophomore in 2020.

The Bears return to action next week at the Juli Inkster Invitational at Meadow Club.
