EUGENE, Ore. - Sophomore Mika Jin shot a 5-over 77 to lead the Cal women's golf team in the first round of the 2022 Pac-12 Championship at Eugene Country Club.

Jin sits in a tie for 37^th place individually heading into Tuesday's second round.

The Bears are in 11^th place at 25-over par.

"We got off to a rough start and just couldn't really capitalize on anything," Cal head coach Nancy McDaniel said. "The team is capable of much more, and I think we are going to see improvement over the next two days. The shots we watched as coaches didn't equal the scores posted. It's a matter of cleaning up some things."

Cal tees off for the second round Tuesday at 10:05 a.m. PT.
