BERKELEY – Seniors Lucine Ayhi and Juliana Faralisch have been named to the Pac-12 All-Conference Team as announced by the conference office on Friday afternoon. It is the first all-conference honor for both athletes.

The two have rowed in the varsity eight all season and sat next to each other in the last two races. At the Pac-12 Championships, Ahyi sat in the seven-seat with Faralisch occupying the five-seat.

A native of Heidelburg, Germany, Faralisch earns her third all-conference award. The four-time letter winner for the Golden Bears has rowed primarily in the V8+ her entire career, including the gold medal-winning boat in the 2018 NCAA Championships.

Ahyi, also a four-time letter winner, has rowed in the V8+ the last two seasons. The native of Nantes, France began the year in the bow seat for the Bears but has moved all over the boat, settling in the seven-seat at the Pac-12 Championships, helping Cal capture third.

Cal returns to action on Friday, May 27 for the opening day of the NCAA Championships which will be held at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Florida.
