FEDERAL WAY, Wash. – The Cal women's swimming & diving team reached the podium four more times on the final day of the 2023 Pac-12 Championships at Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center on Saturday.

Junior Isabelle Stadden finished second in the 200-yard backstroke with the second-fastest time in the country this season at 1:48.75. It was also Stadden's career-best and the fourth-best time ever at Cal. Stanford freshman Claire Curzan registered the nation's best time this season for the win (1:47.43).

Stadden had won the Pac-12 200 backstroke title in each of her first two seasons at Cal and was undefeated in the event during the regular season.

Sophomore Annika McEnroe placed right behind Stadden in the 200 back with a time of 1:52.61, which is the ninth-best time ever at Cal in the event.

Senior Rachel Klinker, meanwhile, placed third in the 200 butterfly with a time of 1:53.57 – the eighth-best mark in the country this season. Klinker reached the podium in the 200 fly in each of her four years at the Pac-12 Championships, including winning the title in 2021.

Senior Emma Davidson was fifth in the 100 freestyle at 48.27 – the Bears' best time in the event this season.

Cal finished third in the overall team standings behind Stanford and USC.

The Bears will now prepare for the 2023 NCAA Championships at the University of Tennessee on March 15-18.
