Gadderud Earns Second Weekly MPSF Honor

Freshman Competed In Four Events Last Weekend

SEATTLE – California men's gymnastics freshman Theodor Gadderud has earned his second Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) Freshman of the Week award following his performance last Saturday, the conference announced on Tuesday. This is the fourth MPSF award earned by the Golden Bears this season and the sixth overall weekly honor.

A native of Baerum, Norway, Gadderud matched his personal-best vault score of 14.350 at last weekend's dual meet with Oklahoma to lead the Bears and tie for third place. He also recorded scores of 12.550 on parallel bars, 12.450 on high bar and 12.150 on floor.

Gadderud previously won the award on Feb. 21 for his performance in the Bears' virtual meet with Springfield College. He and the Bears will next compete on April 1 at the MPSF Championships, hosted this year at the Air Force Academy in Colorado.
