AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colorado –In its last meet before the NCAA Championships in mid-April, California men's gymnastics faced some of the nation's best teams at Saturday's Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) Championships, recording a score of 388.600 after six rotations. Stanford won the MPSF team title for the second straight year with a score of 423.150, followed by top-ranked Oklahoma (409.500) and Air Force (397.350).
Cal started off the afternoon on the still rings as junior

Khalen Curry led the team with his score of 13.850. Classmate
Theodor Gadderud posted Cal's best score on parallel bars at 13.650, followed by sophomore
Landon Wu's team-leading 12.900 and Curry's PR of 12.350 on high bar. The Bears finished off the day with Curry's floor score of 13.700, a team high and personal best, and Sano's squad-high 13.200 on pommel horse.
The NCAA Championships loom ahead as Cal has two weeks to practice and recover, hoping to better last year's No. 9 team finish. This year's competition is scheduled for April 14-15 at State College, Penn.
