Thiemann Repeats As NABC Honors Court Selection

Cal Alumnus Lauded For Academic Accomplishments

BERKELEY – California men's basketball alumnus Lars Thiemann was named to the 2022-23 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court on Thursday, representing his outstanding achievements in the classroom.

Thiemann, who graduated from Cal in May with an undergraduate degree in nutrition science, is a two-time selection to the NABC Honors Court. He was first recognized with the honor following his junior year in 2021-22.

The NABC Honors Court awards junior, senior and graduate men's basketball student-athletes who finished the 2022-23 academic year with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.2 or higher. Cal has seen at least one student-athlete named to the NABC Honors Court in each of the past four years.
