13 Bears Named CGA All-America Scholar Athletes

Giusti Earned First-Team Honor All Four Years At Cal

The 2023 California men's gymnastics squad earned a bevy of academic awards this week from the College Gymnastics Association (CGA) as 13 Golden Bears were named All-American Scholar Athletes. As a team, the Bears compiled a 2022-23 grade-point average of 3.201, eighth-highest in the nation.
 
Seven Cal gymnasts received First Team honors, which are granted to those maintaining a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher. Topping the list is recent graduate Aidan Giusti, who was named to the First Team in all four years of his collegiate career.
