Bears Haul In 10 All-America Accolades

Lauzon, Frazier Lead Way With Four Honors Each

The California women's gymnastics team's record-breaking season continued Thursday when it received 10 All-America honors from the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association, the most in a single season in program history.

Junior Mya Lauzon and sophomore eMjae Frazier also set individual program benchmarks with three first-team accolades each and four overall.

Lauzon garnered first-team honors on all-around, vault and balance beam while also picking up a second-team nod on the floor exercise. It marks the second season in a row she has been named a first-teamer on vault and balance beam. Lauzon was a second-team pick on floor last season – at the time making her just the second Cal women's gymnast in history to have three All-America honors in the same season.

Frazier was named a First-Team All-American on all-around, balance beam and uneven bars while also earning second-team accolades on the floor exercise. She was a second-teamer on floor last year, becoming just the third freshman in program history to earn All-America honors.

Junior Maddie Williams was named a First-Team All-American on the uneven bars for the second straight year while senior Gabby Perea picked up a second-team nod on bars, the first All-America accolade of her career.

The 10 All-America selections eclipsed the Bears' previous high of seven, set last season. It is also tied for the second most in the country this year.

The Bears are the No. 3 seed in the 2024 NCAA Championships and host the Berkeley Regional next week at Haas Pavilion.
