BERKELEY – The California men's basketball team will host Air Force, Sacramento State and Mercyhurst in the 2024 Cal Classic, a three-game round-robin tournament spanning Nov. 21-27. All three of Cal's games will be played at Haas Pavilion in Berkeley.
 
Cal will face Air Force on Nov. 21, Sacramento State on Nov. 24 and Mercyhurst on Nov. 27. Broadcast information for each game will be announced at a later date.
 
The Golden Bears own series advantages against Air Force (4-3) and Sacramento State (2-0) and will meet Mercyhurst – which joined the ranks of NCAA Division I as a member of the Northeast Conference for the upcoming season – for the first time. Cal last faced Air Force in December 2003 and Sacramento State in December 1992.
 
Cal, led by second-year head coach Mark Madsen, is entering its inaugural season as a member of the ACC. The Bears reloaded their roster with 11 scholarship newcomers, including 10 transfers that collectively rank as the 12th-best transfer class in the country by On3.
 
Additional Cal Classic games include Mercyhurst at Air Force (Nov. 24), Sacramento State at Air Force (Nov. 27) and Mercyhurst at Sacramento State (Nov. 30).
