As California men's basketball sets up for the 2025-26 campaign, the season's promotional schedule is in place, with the Golden Bears set to host a number of celebrations and giveaways for fans coming out to Haas Pavilion.
 
It all starts with the Bears' season opener on Nov. 3, where Cal introduces the world to the Haas of Pain -- a season-long promotion designed to amplify the energy in the arena and engage fans to create an electric environment in Haas Pavilion. Haas of Pain games will take place throughout the season, along with giveaways, student and staff celebrations, and big ACC opponents in the house. Fans should also mark their calendars for the Pete Newell Classic game, in which Cal will present the Pete Newell Career Achievement Award to a prominent men's basketball alumnus – as well as the regular-season home finale with Senior Day to honor Cal's graduating Golden Bears.

Monday, Nov. 3 (vs. CSU Bakersfield, 7 p.m.) – Haas of Pain / Rally Towels Giveaway
Snag a rally towel and bring your Haas of Pain energy to celebrate the Bears' season opener!
 
Monday, Nov. 10 (vs. Cal State Fullerton, 7 p.m.) – Hometown Heroes
Gather with the Bears at Haas Pavilion as we honor those who serve our country and our communities.
 
Friday, Nov. 21 (vs. Sacramento State, 7 p.m.) – Oski Plushies Giveaway
Get in on the trend and grab an Oski Plushie Labubu on your way to watching your Golden Bears take on the Hornets at Haas!
 
Tuesday, Nov. 25 (vs. UCLA, 6 p.m. at Chase Center) – Beat LA
The Golden Bears go across the bay to take on SoCal rival UCLA at Chase Center, and we want Cal fans to join the action to help Beat LA!
 
Tuesday, Dec. 2 (vs. Utah, 7 p.m.) – Haas of Pain / T-Shirts for Cal Students
Cal students receive a free t-shirt in a Haas of Pain clash with the Utes!
 
Tuesday, Dec. 6 (vs. Pacific, 2 p.m.) – STUDY BREAK
Take a break from the library and head to Haas! Cal students can pick up a blue book and enjoy some free food while watching the Bears take on the Tigers.
 
Wednesday, Jan. 14 (vs. Duke, 8 p.m.) – Haas of Pain / Rep the Bay Hat Giveaway
Enter the Haas of Pain and score a Rep the Bay hat! Cal takes on the Duke Blue Devils on national TV, so bring your Golden Bear energy for a big game at Haas!
 
Saturday, Jan. 17 (vs. North Carolina, 1 p.m.) – Pete Newell Classic / Retro T-Shirt Giveaway
The Haas of Pain returns as Cal faces North Carolina in an epic showdown - be there, get loud, and score a retro T-shirt! We'll also be honoring our 2025-26 recipient of the prestigious Pete Newell Career Achievement Award, so fans can expect some great Cal alumni in the arena as well!
 
Wednesday, Feb. 4 (vs. Georgia Tech, 5 p.m.) – Suits & Sneakers & Faculty/Staff Appreciation Night / Notepad Giveaway
Join us for faculty & staff appreciation night as we honor our campus community and give away exclusive Cal notepads to fans in attendance. This Suits & Sneakers night is in support of the Coaches vs. Cancer program!
 
Saturday, Feb. 7 (vs. Clemson, 5 p.m.) – Rock Your Crocs Night / Crocs Charms Giveaway
Cal head coach Mark Madsen rocks his Crocs whenever possible, and so should you! Get out to Haas for this Saturday ACC showdown and pick up some new charms for your Crocs.

It's rivalry day at the Haas of Pain, and we're aiming to go gold against the Cardinal! Wear your favorite gold Cal gear and cheer on your Bears!
 
Saturday, Feb. 28 (vs. Pitt, 1 p.m.) – Senior Day & Lunar New Year (Haas of Pain) / AAPI Giveaway
Cal honors its graduating Golden Bears at the final regular-season home game of the year while also celebrating Lunar New Year at the Haas of Pain. Fans will receive Lunar New Year envelopes with a surprise inside to celebrate the Year of the Horse!
