3 Bears Earn All-MPSF Recognition
Akhvlediani Becomes First Cal Freshman Named to First Team Since 2019
The No. 4 California men's water polo team placed three student-athletes on the All-MPSF Team, the conference office announced Wednesday.
Freshman
Beso Akhvlediani earned first-team honors, senior

Ponferrada earned his third career All-MPSF recognition. He has 35 points (13 goals, 22 assists) and is third in the conference with 13 field blocks.
It's the first all-conference nod for Mirkovic, who has 16 goals, 10 assists and 10 steals on the season.
The Bears open up the MPSF Championships on Friday against Johns Hopkins at Stanford's Avery Aquatic Center. The opening sprint is set for 2:30 p.m. PT.
