Award Presented To Top Division I Freshman By CollegeInsider.com

BOSTON – California guard Jeremiah Wilkinson was named one of 25 finalists for the 2024-25 Kyle Macy Award, presented annually to the top freshman in NCAA Division I men's basketball by CollegeInsider.com.

Wilkinson, who was named the ACC Sixth Man of the Year and a member of the league's All-Rookie Team, is one of the most dynamic freshman scorers in program history. He's started the past 14 games of the year, averaging 19.5 PPG in that span.

The Powder Springs, Georgia, native is a three-time ACC Rookie of the Week. He scored 20-plus points 10 times and was a double-figure scorer 18 times in 20 ACC regular-season contests, including a pair of 30-point efforts vs. Miami (30) and at Notre Dame (36).

The recipient of the annual award is determined by a 10-member voting committee, which consists of current and former head coaches, as well as two senior staff members of CollegeInsider.com.
