Cal Men's Rowing Enters Exclusive Streaming Agreement

Overnght Media Group To Be Sole Source Of Home Regattas

BERKELEY – The California men's rowing team will have all of its home regattas streamed exclusively by Overnght Media Group through 2029, thanks to a new partnership between Overnght and the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF).

"We are thrilled to have all of our home regattas streamed exclusively on Overnght," Cal head coach Scott Frandsen said. "This partnership not only expands our reach to alumni, families and fans, but also helps elevate the sport by providing high-quality streaming for collegiate rowing. Overnght's commitment to Olympic sports aligns with our vision of growing and promoting rowing at the highest level."

Overnght is a premier streaming source of Olympic sports, and the addition of Cal men's rowing expands a portfolio that already includes events from USRowing, the Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) and other top-tier regattas.

The Bears became members of the MPSF this season.

"The MPSF is dedicated to providing the best opportunities for our student-athletes and their teams," MPSF Commissioner Foti Mellis said. "Cal men's rowing is one of the most successful and distinguished programs in the history of the sport. We are excited about the increased visibility their home regattas will gain through Overnght's high-quality production and its dedicated platform for Olympic sports."

"We're excited to showcase Cal's program to a global audience while delivering a premium streaming experience for fans and supporters," Overnght Media Group CEO Kevin McReynolds said.

The Bears, who opened the 2025 season earlier this month with a dominant performance at the Redwood Shores Invitational, are back in action March 29-30 at the San Diego Crew Classic. Cal's next home regatta is April 5 against Wisconsin.
