3 Bears Earn ACWPC All-America Recognition

Swadling Named To First Team; Flynn, Voorvelt Also Honored

The California women's water polo team placed three student-athletes on the ACWPC All-America Team that was announced Friday, with senior Ruby Swadling leading the way with a First Team selection.

Fellow senior Elena Flynn earned a Second Team nod while senior Rozanne Voorvelt garnered honorable mention.

It marks the third career All-America selection for Swadling, who led the Golden Bears to a 19-6 record this season and a berth in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Championship. Swadling led Cal with 55 goals and was also named to the All-MPSF First Team.

Flynn has now amassed four career All-America nods, and two with Cal since transferring from UC Irvine before the 2024 season. She notched 48 goals in 2025.

Voorvelt secured her second consecutive honorable mention after scoring 22 goals and excelling as a defender.

The Bears have now had at least one First Team All-America selection for four consecutive seasons.
