Cal Women’s Tennis Announces Fall Schedule
The California women's tennis team announced a fall schedule of seven tournaments including the season-opening ITA All-American Championships, which begin Saturday in Cary, North Carolina. The Golden Bears will make their home debut Sept. 26-28 at the Cal Fall Invitational.
The ITA All-American Championships – including pre-qualifying, qualifying and main draw singles and doubles – run through Sept. 28 and take place at Cary Tennis Park. Five Golden Bears –
Mao Mushika,
Berta Passola Folch,
Naomi Xu, Greta Grecco Lucchina and
Laura Cilekova – will compete in singles in the national event, with at least one Cal doubles team – Mushika and Cilekova – also participating. The ITA All-American Championships is a qualifying event for the NCAA Singles Championships and NCAA Doubles Championships, with 10 players advancing into NCAA singles and four doubles duos qualifying for NCAA doubles from All-Americans.
From Oct. 10-14, selected Bears will compete at home again when Cal hosts the ITA Northwest Regional Championships. Along with vying for singles and doubles titles at regionals, the Bears will seek qualification into the NCAA individual championships.
Next up is the ASU Thunderbird Invitational, an annual event composed of singles and doubles tournaments hosted by the Sun Devils from Oct. 31-Nov. 3 in Tempe, Arizona.
On Nov. 6-9, Bears could compete in either the ITA Fall Masters Championships in San Diego or the ITA Sectional Championships in Seattle as they seek to advance to NCAA singles and/or doubles.
To close the fall half of the 2025-26 schedule, the NCAA Singles Championships and NCAA Doubles Championships will run from Nov. 18-23 at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida.
The second half of Cal's 2025-26 schedule will be announced this winter.
