Cal Finishes In Sixth Place In NIT
The Bears Shoot 12-Under Par in Final Round
TUCSON- California men's golf shot 12-under par in the final round of the N.I.T., finishing in sixth place, just one shot shy of a tie for fourth.
Freshman
Xihuan Chang finished the tournament strong, shooting a 5-under 67 in the final round to finish in 10th place. Chang was the top finisher for the Bears after shooting two under par in the first two rounds.
Sophomore
Ziqin Zhou finished in 18th place after carding a three under par 69 in the second round and a two under par 70 in the final round.
Charlie Berridge also shot five under par in his final two rounds, bouncing back after shooting a two over par 74 in round one. He finished in 30th place.
Redshirt sophomore
Sihao Cong also had a good finish to the tournament shooting five under par int he final two rounds after carding a four over par 76 in round one. He finished in 37th place.
As an individual, redshirt junior
Charlie Bundy finished in 14th place shooting a six under par 210.
Next up, the Bears will head to the John A. Burns Intercollegiate in Lihue, Hawaii on Feb. 12-13.
