The California men's and women's diving teams head to Atlanta for the ACC Championships that begin Sunday at the McCauley Aquatic Center, hosted by Georgia Tech and broadcast on ESPN+. Competition begins with the men's 1-meter dive and the women's 3-meter dive on day one, with preliminaries starting at 9 a.m. PT. Final rounds will commence later in the day. Competition will continue on Monday for the men's 3-meter and the women's 1-meter dives, starting at 9 a.m. PT. The diving portion of the conference championships will close Tuesday for the platform dive at 7:30 a.m. PT and 10:45 a.m. PT.

The Golden Bears will compete against 15 ACC teams for a chance to claim a conference championship. The top eight divers for each event will secure a spot in the final rounds. In addition, each diver will qualify for an NCAA Zone E Championships berth if they meet the minimum score requirements. This year's NCAA Zone E Championship will take place in Colorado Springs, Colorado, hosted by the U.S. Air Force Academy.

Last year, Joshua Thai, Jack Clark, Geoffrey Vavitsas and Violet Williamson competed in Cal's first ACC Championships. The men's team claimed the conference championship. On the women's side, Williamson finished in 14th place in the platform dive, which marked the eighth-best score at Cal in this event.

The Bears are coming off a remarkable 2025-26 regular season. Thai closed out his senior season as the new school record holder in the 3-meter dive, with Thai now holding the fourth-best score in the ACC and the 26th-best mark in NCAA Division 1. On the women's side, Ariana Drake recorded the fourth-highest score in program history in the 1-meter springboard, adding to the Bears' victory against USC. Williamson also posted the fourth-best school mark in the 3-meter springboard during the season finale against Stanford. Williamson now holds the 10th-best score in the ACC.
