No. 6 Bears Finish With Trio Of Top 3 Finishes On Day 3 Of ACC Championships
Geoffrey Vavistas Highlighted The Day Finishing Runner-Up In Platform Diving.
ATLANTA – The California men's swimming and diving team closed out day three in second place at the McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta, GA.

The Bears 200 medley relay team of Evan Petty, Yamato Okadome, Samuel Quarles, and Lucca Battaglini finished 2nd with the 8th fastest time ever in program history (1:22.39).
Cal followed up its second-place finish in the 200 medley relay with a 3rd place finish in the 800 free relay. Nans Mazellier, Roman Jones, Eduardo Moraes, and Ryan Erisman etched their names into the record book with the 7th fastest time in program history (6:09.53).

Geoffrey Vavistas took home silver after jumping from last place to 2nd on his last dive of the day. Vavistas (395.70) was the first Cal diver to take the conference podium since joining the ACC.

Day four of the ACC Championships continues tomorrow with the 500 free, 200 IM, 50 free, and 200 free relay. Prelims begin at 7:10 a.m. PT and finals start at 2:43 p.m. PT on ACCNX.
