BERKELEY – The No. 10 California beach volleyball team closed out the Battle of the Bay in perfect fashion Saturday, winning every set in 5-0 victories over USF and Pacific at the Clark Kerr Sand Courts.

The Golden Bears' No. 4 pair of seniors Mila Vugrincic and Jenna Colligan were especially dominant, holding their opponents to 10 points or less in every set. They allowed just 30 points total over four sets played Saturday.

Redshirt freshman Giselle Lau made her Cal debut and teamed up with sophomore Elle Evers to beat USF's No. 5 pair, 21-19, 21-11.

Cal's No. 1 pair of Emma Donley and Portia Sherman, the defending AVCA/CBVB National Pair of the Week, improved to 8-0 on the season. The Bears No. 2 pair of Gia Fisher and Ava Haughy are now 8-1.

Cal returns to the sand next week for the MPSF Coast To Coast Classic at USC. The Bears will face off against No. 4 USC and No. 12 LSU on Friday and No. 17 Grand Canyon and No. 18 Washington on Saturday.
