California women's rowing will take on Oregon State in a preseason friendly at Redwood Shores this Saturday. The Golden Bears will see their first and second varsity eight crews take on the Beavers, in addition to the first and second coxed fours. The Cal Blue and Cal Gold varsity eights will also compete in a friendly. 
 
This will be the first time that all the Bears' boats will be out on the water this season after sending the Cal Blue and Cal Gold crews to the California Challenge Cup last weekend in Newport Beach. The Bears swept the competition, combining for four dual-race wins in the first two rounds to set up a Cal Blue vs. Cal Gold final race for the Steve Guentz Challenge Cup. It was the fourth consecutive year that Cal has won all its races at the annual Southern California event.
 
Races will begin at 10:30 a.m. PT on Saturday. The competition will be shown live on Overnght, with live results also available here.

10:50 a.m. – Cal 2V8+ vs. OSU 2V8+
11:00 a.m. – Cal 1V4+ vs. OSU 1V4+
11:10 a.m. – Cal 2V4+ vs. OSU 2V4+
11:20 a.m. – Cal Blue vs. Cal Gold
