7 Gymnasts Named All-ACC Academic

Cal Matches Program-Best Number Of Honorees

Seven student-athletes from California women's gymnastics have been named All-ACC Academic honorees following the conclusion of the 2026 season. Those Golden Bears are Miki Aderinto, Casey Brown, CJ Keuneke, Kyen Mayhew, Sage Melkonian, Jayden Silvers and Mya Wiley.

Three Bears - Brown, Keuneke and Mayhew - earned the recognition for the second time in their careers, while Aderinto, Melkonian, Silvers and Wiley are all first-time honorees. Cal matched its highest number of student-athletes placed on the list, after also seeing seven Bears named to the All-ACC Academic list last year in Cal's first year as part of the conference.

To be considered for the recognition, student-athletes must be enrolled at the institution for at least one academic year as an undergraduate. The student-athlete must earn a 3.00 GPA or higher, both cumulative and in the most recent two terms. Additionally, the student-athlete must be a regular contributor in their sport, measured by competing in half of the team's contests throughout the season.
