LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The California track & field team closed out the first meet of its outdoor postseason Saturday at Owsley B. Frazier Park, finishing the ACC Outdoor Championships with a total of nine All-ACC honorees, a meet record, two freshman records and four program top-10 marks.

No. 21 Virginia (110 points) took home the men's team title, while No. 24 Clemson (99 points) claimed the women's. Cal's men finished 11th with 30 points and its women tied for 13th with 26 points.

The duo of senior Saqqara Ruffin and sophomore Inara Ukawuba each scored for the Bears in the 100m hurdles final. Ruffin's time of 13.34 was a new wind-legal personal best and improved her own No. 6 program entry while earning her sixth place and her first-career All-ACC recognition. Ukawuba, who finished one spot behind Ruffin in the standings, lowered her wind-legal PR and program No. 7 entry to 13.37.

Redshirt junior Nik Iwankiw picked up his second All-ACC honor of the week and third of the year as he placed sixth in the men's discus with a best throw of 52.97m (173-9). Freshman teammate Eliot Traxler crossed the 50 meter barrier for the first time in the event, setting a PR of 50.11m (164-5).

One day after running a wind-aided PR of 10.38, sophomore Aidan Orias showed his success was no fluke as he recorded a wind-legal 10.46 to finish eighth and score a point as the first man to represent Cal in an ACC 100m final. He also acted as the first leg of Cal's sixth-place 4x100m relay (40.05), earning three more points for the Bears with the help of classmates Trevor Rogers and Wazell Wright as well as junior Javon Hampton Jr.

Two of Cal's triple jumpers made their finals but finished just outside of scoring position in ninth place. Freshman Avery Hart posted a PR of 12.77m (41-10.75) in the women's competition while junior Jeremiah Bolaños recorded a wind-aided mark of 15.55m (51-0.25) on the men's side.
