California women's golf senior Adora Liu will continue her standout senior season as the lone California Golden Bear competing in the Stanford Regional held at the Stanford Golf Course, Monday through Wednesday. Liu was selected as a 4-seed among the group of six individuals.

Liu has had a tremendous season for the Bears playing in 10 events, averaging a team-best 73.29 stroke average. She leads the team with three top-5 finishes this year and 11 rounds under par. Liu finished in fifth place individually in the stroke play round at the St. Andrews Links Collegiate on Oct. 13-14, 2024 with a three under par 141. She shot an even par 213 at the Alice and John Wallace Classic on Feb. 14-16, and had her best finish of the season at the Silicon Valley Showcase on March 30-31, shooting a 2-under par 211, finishing as the runner-up.

Liu will look to bounce back from her performance in her last tournament at the ACC Championship, where she shot a 6-over-par 222, finishing in a tie for 53rd place. Liu will tee off in the final group off hole 10 Monday at 9:50 a.m. with San Francisco's Eva Pett and Long Beach State's Madison Lee.

The Stanford Regional is one of six regionals that will be played in a 54-hole format over the course of May 11-13. Each regional will host 12 teams and six individuals not attached to a participating team. The top five teams and top individuals not part of an advancing team will qualify for the 2026 National Championship, held at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif., May 22-27.
