AS A JUNIOR (2018):
- Named one of three finalists for the John Olerud National Two-Way Player of the Year award after a brilliant season at the plate, in the outfield and on the mound.
- Earned All-Pac-12 first team honors and was named to the Pac-12 All-Defensive team. Also named a second team All-American by Baseball America.
- Drafted by Tampa Bay in the second compensatory round, pick No. 71 overall, of the Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft and was Cal's first player off the board in 2018.
- Served as Cal's closer and set the single-season record for saves with 11. Made 19 appearances and compiled a 2-1 record and 2.47 ERA. Had 35 strikeouts to just seven walks in 40 innings of work.
- Hit .320 with 1 home run, 12 doubles, 40 runs scored and 27 RBIs. Slashed .320/.384/.386.
- Tied for fifth in the Pac-12 and led the team with 12 stolen bases.
- Ranked third on the team with 19 multiple-hit games and led the club with three four-hit games (CSU Bakersfield, UCLA, USC).
- One of four Golden Bears (Andrew Vaughn, Tyrus Greene, Jonah Davis) to appear in all 54 games in 2018.
- Owned the team's longest hit streak of the year with a 13-game stretch between March 24 and April 14.
- Earned all-conference honors on defense thanks to a .993 fielding percentage and only one error on the season. Also finished the year with 10 assists.
- Hit .339 in Pac-12 play, a mark good for 11th in the conference and second on the team behind only Andrew Vaughn.
- Named an all-tournament selection at the Frisco Classic after going 6 for 12 with a double, three runs scored and three RBIs. Also pitched two innings against Texas A&M.
- Began the year on the watch list for the prestigious Golden Spikes Award.
- Ended Cal career with a .309 average in 123 games played. Compiled a 3.81 career ERA and ranked in a tie for fitth on Cal's all-time saves list with 16.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2017):
- Emerged as one of the most versatile players in the Pac-12 as he not only made an impact on the mound but also evolved into one of the conference's top center fielders by season's end.
- Played in 49 games with 48 starts. Started 26 games in center field, 22 games at designated hitter and made seven starts on the mound.
- Offensively, finished the year with a .297 average, 55 hits in 185 at-bats, 14 doubles, three triples, three home runs, 29 runs and 26 RBI. Also slugged .454 with a .358 on-base percentage and stole four bases.
- Finished the year with a 1.000 fielding percentage in 77 chances.
- On the mound, went 2-6 with a 5.37 ERA in 52 innings pitched. Appeared in 19 games with seven starts, had 48 strikeouts to 25 walks and also saved two games.
- Had multiple hits in 12 games and drove in multiple RBIs on seven occasions.
- Was the only Cal hitter to collect four hits in a game twice (Washington State, Arizona).
- Was Cal's opening-day starter against Cal Poly.
- Struck out a career-high seven in just 3.2 innings against Stanford on May 15.
AS A FRESHMAN (2016):
- Appeared in 19 games on the mound and made nine starts for the Bears
- Finished third on the team in wins (four)
- Had a career-high seven innings pitched and four strikeouts on April 30 against Washington
- Recorded saves on March 5 at Texas, April 16 at Arizona State and April 19 versus Stanford
HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL:
- Attended Jesuit High School and was a two-time team MVP and was a two-time All-League selection
- As a senior, he had a 2.10 ERA and batted .430 for the Marauders
- Drafted in the 31st round of the 2015 MLB First Year Player Draft by the New York Mets
