TRACK & FIELD
2019: Competed in five meets during the Outdoor season… Qualified for the NCAA West Prelims in the discus where he took 43rd place with a throw of 50.96m/167-2… Took second in the discus and third in the shot put at both the Big Meet and the Brutus Hamilton Invitational… Named to the MPSF All-Academic list… Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention.  

2018: Qualified for the NCAA West Prelims in the shot put and the discus for the second straight year... Set a personal best in the shot put at NCAA West Prelims with a mark of 18.06m (59-3) as he took 19th... Finished in third place in the discus at the Pac-12 Championship with a throw of 54.61m (179-2) while also taking sixth in the shot put with a mark of 17.30m (56-9.25)... Scored points in both the shot put and the discus at the Big Meet... Set a personal best in the weight throw at the MPSF Indoor Championship as he threw 17.11m (56-1.75)... Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention... MPSF Scholar-Athlete. 

2017: Qualified for the NCAA West Prelims in both the shot put and the discus... Took fifth place in the discus and 11th place in the shot put at the Pac-12 Championship... Ranked 45th in the NCAA in the discus after he recorded a throw of 55.77m (183-0) at the Kansas Relays... Ranked 71st in the NCAA in the shot put with a throw of 17.89m (58-8.5) at The Big Meet... Claimed victories in the discus at the Brutus Hamilton Challenge, The Big Meet and the Stanford Invitational... Claimed second in teh shot put at the Brutus Hamilton Challenge and third at the Kansas Relays.

2016: Placed 14th in the shot put (PR 56-7.50) and 18th in the discus (154-1) at the Pac-12 Championships … best mark in the discus came at the Big Meet (166-1).

HIGH SCHOOL: Participated for a track and field team as a 2014 junior that won state and Southern Section team titles.. Won section titles and finished fourth in both the shot put and discus.

PERSONAL: Also a member of the Cal football team as a fullback/tight end (BIO) ... earned All-American honors in football by being selected for the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl as a 2014 senior after he was named to the All-Los Angeles Times All-Star and All-SouthernCaliforniaPreps.com squads as a defensive lineman and was the Trinity League’s Co-Defensive Player of the Year as well as a first-team All-Trinity League selection... parents are Patrick McMorris and the late Lucy Guerrero...Graduated with a degree in American Studies.
