2019: Competed in six meets during his senior season… Recorded a fourth place finish in the hammer throw at the Cal Opener with a mark of 44.33m/145-5… Also recorded a fourth place finish at the Big Meet where he threw for a personal best 49.31m/161-9.
2018: Claimed ninth place in the javelin at the Pac-12 Championship with a throw of 60.03m (196-11)... Won the javelin throw at the Brutus Hamilton Challenge... Took second at the Big Meet with a personal best javelin throw of 61.70m (202.5).
2017: Took 13th at the Pac-12 Championship with a javelin throw of 54.95m (180-3)... Won the Cal Opener in the javelin and placed second in both the Brutus Hamilton Challenge and the Kansas Relays... Posted a season-best mark of 59.58m (195-6) at the Brutus Hamilton Challenge.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Buchanan HS in Clovis...earned team's Most Improved award twice during his career...also played baseball before focusing on throws in track...overcome health deficiencies to compete in sports.
PERSONAL: Graduated with a degree in computer science...Parents are David and Kerry Wilson...has two younger siblings, Zach and Jenny...parents were both student-athletes at UCLA (dad: track; mom: gymnastics)...hobbies include reading and working out...attended Fresno City College before coming to Cal.
